In the 7th minute Daniel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Amaral made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Óscar Miranda sent off a good shot on target. When SC Luadas's Daniel Branco in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caramulo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, SC Luadas's Gustavo Pereira got a free kick in the 18th minute. Daniel Branco struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Filipe Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Luadas. In the 28th minute, Óscar Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Amaral. Caramulo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Filipe Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Daniel Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óscar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Amaral having to interfere. Óscar Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Caramulo FC's Mariano Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Armindo Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Caramulo FC's zone, Óscar Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Amaral came out of the goal and Óscar Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Amaral having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armindo Assis was the one to do the kick off. It was a well-played corner which Armindo Assis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 60th minute, Alexandre Vaz fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Manuel Correia. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Caramulo FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. The Caramulo FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Caramulo FC's Armindo Assis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Humberto Gaspar had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Óscar Miranda hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes, Gil Bessa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caramulo FC and the SC Luadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Gil Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Óscar Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Filipe Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Amaral came out of the goal and Daniel Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alexandre Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Daniel Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caramulo FC's Filipe Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
