Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Matos kicked off to start the match. SC Golfar's Rui Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pires in the 6th minute of play. Alombada's Pedro Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SC Golfar getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. David Faro hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Paulo Morais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Gonçalves skillfully saved the ball. Rui Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Pires went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, one of SC Golfar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Golfar. The referee gave Alombada a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Morais, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Golfar's Rui Gonçalves. 0-3. In the 38th minute, Sebastião Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Pedro Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alombada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Pedro Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, SC Golfar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Faro to maneuver through the defense. When Alombada's Pedro Pires in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Golfar's goalie prevented a goal. Alombada's Pedro Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Pires struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rui Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alombada. 75 minutes into the match, SC Golfar's goalkeeper Rui Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Dantas. 76 minutes into the match, SC Golfar's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Pires came free, but Rui Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alombada's Joaquim Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Faro in the 86th minute of play. Paulo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Gonçalves having to interfere. Delfim Neto's late challenge caught a Alombada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Neto helped the player get up and apologised. Delfim Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rui Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pires in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 minutes, David Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Golfar and the Alombada players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Golfar getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. David Faro hit a great ball. Rui Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pires in the 101st minute of play. The Alombada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
