Filipe Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Paulo Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Filipe Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Pedro Pires fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pedro Pires struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Filipe Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alombada. Caramulo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Paulo Dantas scored to the left of an out of position Filipe Amaral, making the score, 1-0. When Pedro Pires came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Alombada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pires couldn't finish the play. Caramulo FC's Filipe Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Pires in the 33rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Humberto Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Paulo Morais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Amaral skillfully saved the ball. When Alombada's Paulo Dantas in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caramulo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Pires hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Pires in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Amaral saved Caramulo FC from getting behind. When Alombada's Paulo Dantas in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caramulo FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Armindo Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caramulo FC's zone, Pedro Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Amaral came out of the goal and Pedro Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Paulo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alombada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Monteiro having to interfere. Filipe Amaral came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alombada's Pedro Pires. But to his dismay, Pedro Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alombada had played much better football throughout.
