SC Rogela's Júlio Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Andrade in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Torres in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Coimbra saved SC Ataide from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Torres was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Vaz in the 68th minute of play forced SC Rogela's goalkeeper Júlio Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes SC Rogela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogério Macedo who took care of the corner kick. Mariano Andrade struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Júlio Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ataide. After a rather tough play, SC Rogela's Armando Moutinho got a free kick in the 80th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Ataide's corner Eusébio Trindade fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio Paredes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 85th minute, Júlio Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Macedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Paredes. SC Rogela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Filipe Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ataide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Amorim in the 96th minute of play. The SC Rogela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Ataide's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Ataide.
