Amadeu Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Aguiar having to make a save. Heitor Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Aguiar having to interfere. Nuno Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luís Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Panasco FC's Vicente Martins got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Heitor Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Manuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Luís Henriques made a huge save. Currelos's Manuel Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Correia in the 31st minute of play. Nuno Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Henriques having to interfere. The supporters of Panasco FC booed when Currelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Manuel Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Nogueira in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Correia in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeu Correia was the one to do the kick off. Luís Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Andrade in the 54th minute of play. Panasco FC's Luís Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Andrade in the 56th minute of play. Afonso Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Manuel Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panasco FC's Luís Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Currelos's zone, Heitor Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Aguiar came out of the goal and Heitor Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Heitor Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Panasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Nogueira couldn't finish the play. When %teams%'s Amadeu Correia was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 67 minutes into the game. Manuel Aguiar was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 70th minute, Amadeu Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Aguiar. The goal made the score 1-2. Luís Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Panasco FC's Amadeu Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Panasco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panasco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
