Cristiano Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Matos's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Prezas FC's Manuel Maia got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Matos in the 22nd minute of play forced Prezas FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Esteves having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Prezas FC's João Campos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gaspar Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Valente in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rebordochao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Veiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Prezas FC's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Rui Matos made the kick off in the second half. If João Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Sá during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Campos scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heitor Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Prezas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rebordochao FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
