SC Samoes's attack was well implemented in the 5th minute, but when Hugo Leal was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Emílio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Amílcar Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílcar Viana in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Marques saved SC Samoes from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Álvaro Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Emílio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Gaspara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Gaspara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Leal came free, but André Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hugo Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Nogueira was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
