Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duarte Valente started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Amílcar Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaspara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Valente in the 11th minute of play. Afonso Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Agueda's zone, Álvaro Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Carneiro came out of the goal and Álvaro Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Magalhães in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gaspara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Cunha to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gaspara FC's André Nogueira got control of the ball when Gabriel Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amílcar Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Correia hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gaspara FC's zone, Gabriel Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Nogueira came out of the goal and Gabriel Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gaspara FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Vítor Cunha hit a great ball. Duarte Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nogueira having to interfere. If Amílcar Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Carneiro having to interfere. Amílcar Viana got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-1 in the right cross in the 65th match minute before Afonso Carneiro had time to react. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Valente in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Alberto Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gabriel Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Agueda's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Gaspara FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gaspara FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
