Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Lopes got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, SC Barcos's Alberto Viegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristiano Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Álvaro Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, SC Barcos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Guarda to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, SC Fernandilho's Joaquim Costa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alberto Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, SC Barcos's Tiago Coimbra got control of the ball when Álvaro Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Coimbra was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Álvaro Amaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Álvaro Amaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Alberto Viegas succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If André Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Matos in the 45th minute of play forced SC Fernandilho's goalkeeper Humberto Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Viegas in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Nogueira saved SC Fernandilho from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Viegas was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Amaro in the 51st minute of play. Tiago Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Lopes in the 56th minute of the match. André Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Humberto Nogueira made a huge save. André Antunes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Humberto Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Viegas in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Barcos defense, Álvaro Amaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Coimbra. The SC Barcos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Coimbra should have stopped the shot. Humberto Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Barcos booed when SC Fernandilho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Matos in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Nogueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Álvaro Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Alfredo Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Coimbra. SC Barcos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Alfredo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tiago Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Barcos's zone, Alfredo Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Coimbra came out of the goal and Alfredo Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Alfredo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Matos in the 92nd minute. Alfredo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Coimbra having to interfere. SC Barcos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
