In the 15th minute, Gonçalo Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Gomes in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Muro FC's Gustavo Trindade got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gonçalo Andrade took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Leal. Afonso Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Afonso Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Cristóvão Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gonçalo Andrade made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Muro FC's zone, Gonçalo Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Leal came out of the goal and Gonçalo Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Garcia took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Lisboa. Gaspar Lisboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Armindo Garcia struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Gaspar Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muro FC. If Armindo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vais getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gaspar Figueiredo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Figueiredo in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Vais booed when Muro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Vais's António Vaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Vítor Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Armindo Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
