Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 8 played minutes, Golega's Jorge Gaspar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golega reached it. In the 15th minute, José Fontes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jacinto Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Campos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lucas Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Campos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. André Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leal having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Duarte Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Leal was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When Golega's Duarte Miranda in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Onia's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Miranda to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Jacinto Moniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Onia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 58 minutes into the game, André Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Leal. André Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Rafael Barbosa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Miranda in the 68th minute of play forced Onia's goalkeeper Paulo Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Onia's Rodrigo Domingues got a free kick in the 71st minute. Paulo Leal made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when André Mota sent off a good shot on target. If José Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Campos having to interfere. Rui Queirós's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Leal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lucas Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Moniz in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Golega's Duarte Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Leal. Paulo Leal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. With a little luck, Onia's Paulo Leal got control of the ball when André Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. If André Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onia's goalkeeper Paulo Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Golega supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golega would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
