Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Boucos's Fernando Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nuno Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Resende in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Sérgio Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lima in the 9th minute of play forced SC Olgueira's goalkeeper Luís Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fernando Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Boucos's Afonso Brás got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Armando Aleixo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Gueifão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SC Boucos defense, Sérgio Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Gueifão. The SC Boucos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Gueifão should have stopped the shot. Fernando Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Fernando Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boucos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of SC Olgueira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Boucos:s goal. After 40 played minutes SC Olgueira got a freekick which was hit by Rui Gomes. Nuno Gueifão came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Olgueira's Rui Gomes. But to his dismay, Rui Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Resende made a kick off. Fernando Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Boucos's attack was well implemented in the 53rd minute, but when Fernando Lima was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 55 minutes into the game, Fernando Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Luís Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Pedro Resende came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Olgueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Resende couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lima in the 61st minute of play forced SC Olgueira's goalkeeper Luís Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Boucos's João Anjos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Lúcio Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Armando Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Olgueira's protests and gave Armando Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, one of SC Olgueira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Olgueira. In the 72nd minute Fernando Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Faro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Olgueira's Tomás Faro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Luís Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lima in the 74th minute of play. Fernando Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Cruz having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, João Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Boucos's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Lúcio Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Olgueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Boucos the free kick. Lúcio Dias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Fernando Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernando Lima came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SC Boucos fans jumped to their feet.
