Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. Amílcar Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Fridao's goalkeeper Bernardo Anjos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Morais. Henrique Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Gonçalves in the 13th minute of play forced Fajozes's goalkeeper Daniel Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, José Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fajozes's Daniel Lopes. Daniel Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. The supporters of Fajozes booed when Fridao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Fajozes's Vicente Pinheiro tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Daniel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Gonçalves in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fajozes's zone, Jorge Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Lopes came out of the goal and Jorge Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Humberto Brito fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fajozes's protests and gave Humberto Brito a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Amílcar Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Anjos having to interfere. Carlos Abreu's late challenge caught a Fajozes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With his leg Daniel Lopes managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Fridao's Jorge Gonçalves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Fajozes's Humberto Brito got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Daniel Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Jorge Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Henrique Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fridao's Jorge Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Anjos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Morais went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
