Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Mota kicked off to start the match. Amadeu Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Matos during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Espozende FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Matos. Fernando Veiga's late challenge caught a Espozende FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Fernando Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, SC Pombeiras's Basílio Magalhães broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to SC Pombeiras getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Carlos Moutinho hit a great ball. Carlos Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eusébio Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Espozende FC's Carlos Mota in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pombeiras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Vítor Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 minutes of play, Espozende FC's Carlos Mota made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Viegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cláudio Matos came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pombeiras's Carlos Moutinho. But to his dismay, Carlos Moutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Espozende FC's Cláudio Matos got control of the ball when Vítor Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 55thth minute of the game Vítor Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espozende FC's Cláudio Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Costa in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Espozende FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Emílio Monteiro hit a great ball. If Vítor Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeu Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Matos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Costa in the 90th minute of play forced Espozende FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Vicente Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Pombeiras's Eusébio Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mota in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, one of Espozende FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. SC Pombeiras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
