With his leg Daniel Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Maiorga's Heitor Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Bicos's Daniel Neves got control of the ball when Heitor Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Rui Trindade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Gaspar. Américo Abreu got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Bicos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Américo Abreu hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maiorga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
