Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Tavares kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Airaes's Cândido Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Vide's Hélder Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Airaes's zone, Rafael Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Carneiro came out of the goal and Rafael Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Guarda charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Guarda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamantino Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Pereira in the 18th minute of the match. When Airaes's Cândido Nunes in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vide's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Pereira in the 26th minute of play forced Airaes's goalkeeper Diamantino Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Cândido Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vide's Rafael Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diamantino Carneiro. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. José Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, José Tavares notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vide's Ricardo Rodrigues. Ricardo Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Hélder Pereira made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The corner led Airaes's José Lima to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Rodrigues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Hélder Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Airaes's Diamantino Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Tavares in the 74th minute of play forced Vide's goalkeeper Ricardo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Vide's goalkeeper Ricardo Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cândido Nunes. Sandro Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cândido Nunes let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 2-3 at rihgt post. After 82 minutes of play, Airaes's Cândido Nunes made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Queirós hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When %teams%'s José Tavares was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-5 just inside the left pole, 92 minutes into the game. Ricardo Rodrigues was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Airaes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
