Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílcar Maia to make the kick off. Rafael Santoss short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got David Carvalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hélder Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Carvalho having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hélder Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Carvalho. That made the score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Hélder Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Amílcar Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, SC Pecene's goalkeeper David Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Santos.
