Bernardo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriel Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Gabriel Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vilarelhe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Jesus took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Garcia. Bernardo Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Paulo Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Freitas in the 39th minute of play forced Ribeiros FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gabriel Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Paulo Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vilarelhe's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cristiano Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ribeiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Ramos couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Jesus made a kick off. The supporters of Ribeiros FC booed when SC Vilarelhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Ramos in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cristiano Ramos sped through SC Vilarelhe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelino Leite. Bernardo Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Freitas in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Jesus in the 85th minute of play forced Ribeiros FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Vilarelhe's Mário Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, SC Vilarelhe's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Amorim came free, but Adelino Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gabriel Freitas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 98 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernardo Garcia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
