Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rui Henriques kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Barlonguinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Henriques came free, but Jorge Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Óscar Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Américo Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Pinheiro in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Nuno Aleixo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Américo Araújo skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Traveira's Jorge Moniz got a free kick in the 17th minute. If José Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute of the match, Joaquim Pinheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Américo Araújo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute José Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Américo Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barlonguinho FC. In the 72nd minute Joaquim Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Cláudio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes, Barlonguinho FC's Marco Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Américo Araújo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barlonguinho FC reached it. Barlonguinho FC's Jorge Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Barlonguinho FC from getting a goal against them. When Joaquim Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Barlonguinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Traveira defense, Joaquim Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Américo Araújo. The Traveira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Américo Araújo should have stopped the shot.
