Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Silva kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Marco Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rendo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lanhoso the free kick. A collision led to Rendo FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Marco Vale hit a great ball. Tomás Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Moutinho in the 4th minute of play. Delfim Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Vale having to interfere. Delfim Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vicente Vale made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Luís Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Matos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Luís Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tomás Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Rendo FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Vale. Vicente Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Mendes in the 28th minute of the match. Rendo FC's Marco Vale got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Marco Vale off the ground. In the 30th minute, Marco Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armando Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Rendo FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Diogo Mendes hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, SC Lanhoso's Américo Araújo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rendo FC's Tomás Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Moutinho in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Rendo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Delfim Melo made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Melo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rendo FC's Delfim Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Diogo Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rendo FC and the SC Lanhoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Diogo Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Matos having to make a save. Luís Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Delgado's late challenge caught a SC Lanhoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. João Delgado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, SC Lanhoso's Américo Araújo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77th minute, Armando Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Matos. Rendo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fábio Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tomás Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Diogo Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Moutinho got free with Tomás Matos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SC Lanhoso booed when Rendo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Lanhoso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
