In the 6th minute Cristóvão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Filipe Reis lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Raposo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Almofrela FC:s goal. Xavier Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tomás Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristóvão Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Raposo's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Figueiredo came free, but Tomás Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Maia in the 38th minute of play. Hugo Maia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Xavier Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes, Eusébio Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raposo and the Almofrela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 55 minutes, Xavier Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almofrela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Almofrela FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Martins. João Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Reis in the 58th minute. João Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Vieira having to interfere. With a little luck, Almofrela FC's João Resende got control of the ball when Cristóvão Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tomás Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Figueiredo went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Almofrela FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
