An unexpectedly hard shot by João Nascimento in the 9th minute of play forced Pinho FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Resende was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Duarte Leiria. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Nascimento in the 27th minute of play forced Pinho FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xavier Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Almofrela FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Branco made a kick off. Bruno Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. João Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pinho FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Paulo Gaspar hit a great ball. Almofrela FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Almeida in the 65th minute. Almofrela FC's Bernardo Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandre Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 68 minutes, Xavier Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almofrela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Brás hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Figueiredo in the 83rd minute of play forced Pinho FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Alexandre Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Almofrela FC's João Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jaime Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinho FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Almofrela FC's João Nascimento got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Almofrela FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
