SC Portelinha's Luís Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Ramos in the 13th minute of play. Cristiano Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17thth minute of the game Daniel Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chocas FC's Vasco Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Bessa could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Vasco Silva however easily saved by the left post. After 26 minutes, Jaime Matos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Portelinha's Luís Correia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When António Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Portelinha's protests and gave António Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Portelinha booed when Chocas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rafael Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Portelinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes of play, SC Portelinha's Rafael Bessa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasco Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there!
