Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Matos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lombas's zone, Simão Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ferro came out of the goal and Simão Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Matos in the 8th minute of play forced SC Lombas's goalkeeper Carlos Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Ramos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Carlos Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chocas FC. Chocas FC's Simão Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Eusébio Leão had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Alexandre Leal's late challenge caught a SC Lombas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Leal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chocas FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alexandre Leal hit a great ball. Simão Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Carlos Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Ramos in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes SC Lombas got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Melo. Jorge Oliveira came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vasco Silva could save by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Jorge Oliveira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chocas FC's Vasco Silva. Vasco Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Chocas FC booed when SC Lombas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Nuno Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lombas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chocas FC the free kick. In the 39th match minute, SC Lombas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Faria to maneuver through the defense. Simão Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ferro having to interfere. Carlos Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Matos in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasco Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Simão Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Carlos Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Lombas's Nuno Faria got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Nuno Faria off the ground. Nuno Faria hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chocas FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexandre Leal hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Simão Ramos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Ferro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th match minute, SC Lombas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Carlos Ferro made a huge save. Chocas FC's Simão Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Jorge Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lombas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chocas FC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Jorge Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, Chocas FC's Simão Ramos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Ferro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simão Ramoss short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Carlos Ferro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorge Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Vasco Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lombas. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
