Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Nogueira made the kick off which started today's match. If Albertino Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lombega's Cristiano Nascimento got a free kick in the 8th minute. SC Ingarnal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo Nogueira 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Abel Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Fernando Gomes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Correia skillfully saved the ball. After 19 played minutes SC Ingarnal got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Tavares. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ingarnal's zone, Albertino Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Correia came out of the goal and Albertino Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Carlos Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ingarnal's protests and gave Carlos Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes SC Ingarnal got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fontes. In the 28th minute, Cristiano Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertino Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Correia having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Lombega got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Mota. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cláudio Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ingarnal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Leão in the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes SC Ingarnal got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Veiga. Lombega's Jorge Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Soares in the 56th minute of play. Jorge Barros made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cláudio Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Vicente Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertino Leão went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lombega's Jorge Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Lombega from getting a goal against them. If Paulo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertino Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vítor Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nogueira in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lombega fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Ingarnal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
