Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Heitor Delgado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Portalegre's Oliveira Pacheco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Delgado in the 4th minute of play forced Portalegre's goalkeeper Hélder Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Teixeira came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Portalegre's Afonso Resende. But to his dismay, Afonso Resende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Delfim Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Barros in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ricardo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Portalegre's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Delgado came free, but Hélder Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, José Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portalegre's supporters rose to their feet, but José Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes, Rui Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portalegre and the SC Reveles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Portalegre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Paiva to maneuver through the defense. If Júlio Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Barros made a kick off. In the 54th minute, João Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Ferro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. José Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Delfim Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Garcia in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match, José Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Teixeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diogo Domingues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Afonso Resende in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Teixeira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Delfim Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Barros's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Júlio Coimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Moutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Coimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Moutinho having to interfere. Hélder Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Coimbra in the 83rd minute of play. If José Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Teixeira having to interfere. The SC Reveles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portalegre's performance. The match ended with a win for Portalegre.
