Armindo Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Delgado in the 3rd minute of the match. Vítor Neves hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Heitor Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Valente having to interfere. Júlio Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Valente having to interfere. Júlio Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Armindo Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Reveles. Heitor Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gualdim FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vítor Neves hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Reveles's Mariano Pereira got a free kick in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, Gualdim FC's Gustavo Torres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Joaquim Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Garcia hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, SC Reveles's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Martins came free, but Delfim Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gualdim FC's Joaquim Martins in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Reveles's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Delgado in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heitor Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armindo Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Joaquim Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Teixeira having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Fábio Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Delgado to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Heitor Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Reveles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gualdim FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustavo Torres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Reveles's Delfim Teixeira. 0-1. Joaquim Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Reveles's Delfim Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Assunção in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Fábio Assunção who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Reveles's Delfim Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delfim Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Fábio Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Júlio Coimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Valente. Gualdim FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Coimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Delfim Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Lima in the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Martins got free with Delfim Teixeira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Júlio Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Reveles's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Reveles's Mariano Pereira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Jaime Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gualdim FC booed when SC Reveles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
