Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Luz kicked off to start the match. David Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Fernando Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Ameijoafas's Pedro Assis got a free kick in the 16th minute. João Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Luz in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Assis missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 21 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the João Maia right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Júlio Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Ameijoafas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Taloes the free kick. After 27 minutes SC Ameijoafas's goalkeeper Cristiano Teixeira managed, with a little bit of luck, save André Coelho's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. David Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Teixeira having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, David Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Teixeira. SC Ameijoafas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. SC Taloes's João Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Ferreira in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Bento Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Ferreira in the 41st minute of play forced SC Taloes's goalkeeper João Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Taloes's Rafael Leite got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fernando Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Tiago Pacheco's late challenge caught a SC Ameijoafas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Tiago Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Pinheiro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, SC Ameijoafas's goal looked a bit too open when David Mendes came free, but Cristiano Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th play minute Bento Ferreira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Maia. 2-1. David Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cristiano Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Fontes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. SC Taloes's João Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Luz in the 80th minute of play. João Maia made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Bento Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. SC Ameijoafas's Bento Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fernando Luz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SC Ameijoafas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Luz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Taloes booed when SC Ameijoafas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Ameijoafas's Cristiano Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Leite in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Ameijoafas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Taloes.
