Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Campos started the match with the kick off. António Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Américo Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Américo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Monteiro in the 17th minute of play forced Atalho FC's goalkeeper Manuel Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vítor Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Domingues was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Paulo Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Niza's Armindo Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Américo Amorim stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Campos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. When Paulo Campos came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Atalho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Campos couldn't finish the play. António Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Amorim having to interfere. In the 42nd play minute António Santos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Américo Amorim. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vítor Monteiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. Armindo Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Atalho FC's zone, Armindo Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Domingues came out of the goal and Armindo Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Américo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Amaral in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Campos in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Américo Amorim saved SC Niza from getting behind. António Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Américo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If António Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Américo Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Américo Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Paulo Campos in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Atalho FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
