Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Trindade in the 17th minute of play. If Viriato Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Lubases FC's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Delgado came free, but Sérgio Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agriboa FC's Manuel Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Paiva in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Luís Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lubases FC and the Agriboa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Catarino Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sérgio Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Catarino Delgado during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lubases FC booed when Agriboa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Viriato Trindade took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Cunha. Sérgio Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 57th minute, Tiago Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lubases FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tiago Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Trindade having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Raul Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tiago Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Viriato Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Cunha was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Jaime Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Daniel Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Manuel Trindade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiago Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Manuel Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Viriato Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agriboa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lubases FC's Domingos Moutinho got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Agriboa FC got a corner. Lubases FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Mendes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Mendes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
