Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) If Alexandre Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Verdelhos's Jorge Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Assis. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Jorge Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Assis having to make a save. When Carlos Morais came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ventoso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Morais couldn't finish the play. Delfim Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Adolfo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Ventoso FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gomes. In the 30th match minute, Verdelhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Moreira in the 33rd minute of play. Jorge Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Assis having to interfere. Hélder Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Amaral's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Carlos Morais struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adolfo Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ventoso FC. Carlos Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Adolfo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delfim Moreira made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bento Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdelhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ventoso FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joaquim Fontes hit a great ball. Alexandre Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ventoso FC booed when Verdelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Aguiar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bento Gomes during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Verdelhos got a freekick which was hit by Bento Gomes. When Ventoso FC's Delfim Moreira in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verdelhos's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Amaro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. José Nogueira, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Ventoso FC's Paulo Amaro got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Ventoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Gomes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Amaral in the 76th minute of play forced Ventoso FC's goalkeeper Hélder Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adolfo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
