In the 12th minute, Vasco Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Afonso Luz, passed just outside the right post. Américo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, António Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. André Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastião Moniz in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Afonso Luz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute, Sebastião Moniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Daniel Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Fernandes having to interfere. Daniel Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Fonseca in the 39th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Porfia's goalkeeper Afonso Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Porfia! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Gavinhos FC. Alfredo Cabral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Luz. 4-1. The Gavinhos FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Gavinhos FC's Sebastião Moniz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute, Carlos Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Porfia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Fonseca in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastião Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Luz having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, SC Porfia's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Fonseca came free, but Afonso Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Baptista in the 90th minute of play forced Gavinhos FC's goalkeeper André Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Fernandes having to interfere. Carlos Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Moniz in the 96th minute of play. Sebastião Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Luz having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Porfia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gavinhos FC.
