António Baptista started the match with the kick off. Jorge Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Daniel Araújo sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Daniel Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Nogueira. Rouqueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of SC Porfia booed when Rouqueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rouqueira's Xavier Pires in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Porfia's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jorge Nogueira made a huge save. António Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes SC Porfia got a freekick which was hit by Américo Sá. In the 38th match minute, SC Porfia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Sá to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Afonso Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavier Pires was the one to do the kick off. António Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Rouqueira's goal looked a bit too open when António Baptista came free, but Jorge Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Daniel Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Porfia's Afonso Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pedroso in the 66th minute of play. Daniel Araújo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jorge Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Porfia. Xavier Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Afonso Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Nogueira came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Porfia's Daniel Araújo. But to his dismay, Daniel Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jorge Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. SC Porfia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
