The Pintainhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes, Tomás Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renda FC and the Pintainhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emílio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Bessa having to interfere. João Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Xavier Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Xavier Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintainhos. Xavier Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Luz in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pintainhos's Raul Ramos got control of the ball when Rui Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Renda FC's zone, João Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Bessa came out of the goal and João Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucas Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Renda FC's zone, Emílio Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Bessa came out of the goal and Emílio Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Lisboa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Azevedo got free with Xavier Bessa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emílio Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Xavier Bessa made a huge save. If Rui Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Luzs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Xavier Bessa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69th minute, Emílio Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Xavier Bessa. Renda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Azevedo got free with Xavier Bessa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Cristiano Moutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintainhos and the Renda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
