Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Guerreiro kicked off to start the match. Fernando Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Miguel Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Carvalhido's Américo Borges ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Assis. José Assis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Barros during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Filipe Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Redemouro's Miguel Baptista tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Guerreiro in the 24th minute of play forced Carvalhido's goalkeeper Fernando Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Nuno Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Redemouro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Marques's late challenge caught a Carvalhido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Marques helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Redemouro getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cristóvão Marques hit a great ball. When David Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Redemouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Miranda couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, David Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Filipe Barros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Nuno Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fernando Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Miguel Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Redemouro's protests and gave Miguel Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Redemouro getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Miguel Baptista hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Nuno Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Miranda got free with Fernando Abreu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno Guerreiro got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fernando Abreu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Carvalhido got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Branco. Carlos Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. José Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Carlos Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvalhido and the SC Redemouro players grew even worse after the yellow card. SC Redemouro were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
