Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cândido Lima started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Alves in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusébio Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Lima in the 9th minute of the match. Eusébio Luz was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Cândido Lima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cândido Lima really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Forcada's goalkeeper Eusébio Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cândido Lima. Eusébio Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Cilhade's Artur Bessa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sandro Assis's late challenge caught a Forcada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Assis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Cilhade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Assis to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Fernando Nascimento in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Augusto Santos's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Forcada's Diamantino Coimbra got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 46 played minutes Cilhade got a freekick which was hit by António Martins. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Cardoso to make the kick off. Artur Bessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Forcada's Afonso Monteiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. Artur Bessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Santos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Miguel Alves sent off a good shot on target. When António Martins fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cilhade's protests and gave António Martins a yellow card for diving instead. António Martins hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Cândido Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Cândido Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cilhade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cândido Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Luz having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Artur Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Alvess short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Augusto Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Forcada booed when Cilhade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Armando Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cilhade's Augusto Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Luz having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Forcada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cilhade.
