Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Moniz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Rodrigues in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Moniz saved SC Lampreia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Vicente Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Moniz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Vicente Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute, Carlos Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Daniel Domingues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Borges. Daniel Domingues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Miragaia's Vicente Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Moniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. SC Lampreia's Luís Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Rodrigues in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ramos in the 35th minute of play forced SC Lampreia's goalkeeper Luís Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Lampreia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Macedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Miragaia's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luís Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Rodrigues in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Domingues in the 75th minute of play forced Miragaia's goalkeeper Gil Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Lampreia booed when Miragaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertino Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Daniel Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Vicente Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Moniz. SC Lampreia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gil Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Amorim in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Gaspar Nogueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Borges showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albertino Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gil Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
