Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Domingues made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, one of SC Lampreia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Lampreia. When Gaspar Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Lampreia's protests and gave Gaspar Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. Gaspar Nogueira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Duarte Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goja's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Guerreiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Luís Moniz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Albertino Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Pereira during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Fernando Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, SC Lampreia's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Gueifão came free, but Luís Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luís Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Fernando Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Gueifão in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Moniz saved SC Lampreia from getting behind. Luís Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Guerreiro in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Gueifão to make the kick off. Henrique Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fernando Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Moniz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Goja's Cândido Moutinho. But to his dismay, Cândido Moutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Goja's Henrique Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Amorim in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Lampreia's Carlos Fontes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Duarte Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Goja's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Domingues came free, but Henrique Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Lampreia's António Gueifão got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Goja booed when SC Lampreia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Goja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
