Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when António Paredes made the kick off which started today's match. Manuel Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jorge Moniz made a huge save. SC Darque's Jorge Moniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save SC Darque from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Cristóvão Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Relves's goal looked a bit too open when António Paredes came free, but José Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Moniz having to interfere. After 23 played minutes, SC Darque's Pedro Vaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Darque reached it. 31 minutes into the match, Relves's goal looked a bit too open when António Paredes came free, but José Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Paredes in the 32nd minute of play. SC Darque's Tiago Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cristóvão Barros made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Branco in the 57th minute. Jorge Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Darque booed when Relves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Darque's Pedro Vaz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Azevedo but with some difficulty. Jorge Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th of the match, António Paredes tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but José Azevedo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Jorge Moniz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Relves's Cristóvão Barros. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 84th match minute, Relves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Cristóvão Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Darque players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Relves.
