Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Paiva kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, SC Milharado's goalkeeper Alexandre Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Sousa. Júlio Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Carlos Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Milharado's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tanganheira's Afonso Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Assunção in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Milharado's zone, Emanuel Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Almeida came out of the goal and Emanuel Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes SC Milharado got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Tavares. If Carlos Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Milharado booed when Tanganheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Almeida having to interfere. Oliveira Amorim hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Afonso Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Machado in the 38th minute of the match. When Oliveira Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Milharado's protests and gave Oliveira Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Carlos Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Milharado's Amadeu Assunção in the 59th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Afonso Lima was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tanganheira through an amazing save. After having played for 68 minutes, Amadeu Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Milharado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Amadeu Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Lima having to interfere. Emanuel Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Milharado's Viriato Fernandes got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeu Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th match minute, Tanganheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Gomes to maneuver through the defense.
