Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Banzao FC's Daniel Alves got a free kick in the 5th minute. Joaquim Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Costa in the 8th minute of play. Cabos's Mariano Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Afonso Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Ferreira in the 16th minute of the match. Joaquim Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Costa in the 18th minute of play. When Henrique Morais fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabos's protests and gave Henrique Morais a yellow card for diving instead. If Alexandre Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pires having to interfere. Nuno Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Alves in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Costa in the 38th minute of play forced Cabos's goalkeeper Joaquim Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pires having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mariano Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Alves to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Amílcar Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cabos's Mariano Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabos's Joaquim Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cabos from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Banzao FC booed when Cabos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Afonso Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banzao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cabos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amílcar Esteves was slow to take the kick. During this time Banzao FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Banzao FC's corner Amílcar Esteves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquim Mota quite easily take care of the ball. Heitor Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Lisboa in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Banzao FC's Alberto Araújo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Banzao FC's Nuno Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Lisboa in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Mariano Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cabos had won after a very even match.
