Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Paraduca's Inácio Neto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lúcio Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5thth minute of the game Viriato Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraduca's Eusébio Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Coimbra in the 7th minute. If António Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 13 played minutes Baralde FC got a freekick which was hit by David Abreu. Alberto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Neto in the 14th minute of the match. António Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cruz having to interfere. When António Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Paraduca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Coimbra couldn't finish the play. António Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cruz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Neto in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Cruz saved Baralde FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Paraduca's António Coimbra got a free kick in the 35th minute. Viriato Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Gomes having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Paraduca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Baralde FC's Viriato Costa managed to work through Paraduca's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Viriato Costa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Viriato Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
António Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Baralde FC's Afonso Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eusébio Gomes made a huge save. If António Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. António Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cruz having to interfere. António Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When António Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Paraduca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Coimbra couldn't finish the play. Alberto Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viriato Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Coimbra in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Cruz saved Baralde FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Baralde FC defense, António Coimbra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Cruz. The Baralde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Cruz should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paraduca had played much better football throughout.
