Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) If Eduardo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraduca's Eusébio Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Mota in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Inácio Neto made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Cardoso. SC Marmeleira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Inácio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paraduca's António Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Marmeleira's Bruno Nogueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusébio Gomes. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. Nuno Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Neto in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, António Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraduca's supporters rose to their feet, but António Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Inácio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Neto to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Neto in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Cardoso saved SC Marmeleira from getting behind. 54 minutes into the game, Carlos Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraduca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Marmeleira the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paraduca's Carlos Delgado got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nuno Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, José Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Marmeleira's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paraduca's Eusébio Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Nogueira in the 67th minute of play. SC Marmeleira's Nuno Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SC Marmeleira from getting a goal against them. Inácio Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Cardoso having to make a save. If Inácio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Cardoso having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Coimbra got free with Nuno Cardoso in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Marmeleira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraduca the free kick. In the 86th minute, Daniel Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Neto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 89 minutes into the match, António Coimbra notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Marmeleira's Nuno Cardoso. Nuno Cardoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If António Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraduca played a much better game than SC Marmeleira and deserved their victory. The SC Marmeleira players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
