Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eusébio Torres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Viriato Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Moniz in the 4th minute of the match. Viriato Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Moniz in the 6th minute of play. Filipe Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Luís Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, SC Gaifar's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Coimbra came free, but Viriato Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Carlos Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Bessa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rui Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rogério Lopes made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Estefania's Cristóvão Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viriato Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estefania's Rogério Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Torres in the 29th minute of play. Rogério Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Eusébio Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristóvão Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Lopes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Moniz was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Neto in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, SC Gaifar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristóvão Coimbra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eusébio Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rogério Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Gaifar's Viriato Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Moniz in the 65th minute of play. SC Gaifar's Rui Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Estefania's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Torres came free, but Rogério Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Rui Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Cristóvão Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Neto's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Estefania's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Torres came free, but Rogério Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Moura in the 96th minute of play forced SC Gaifar's goalkeeper Viriato Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estefania eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
