Emanuel Resende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Joaquim Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Tacoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Cabral couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Resende was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Jacinto Leão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Leão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 67th match minute, SC Tacoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Manuel Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Bento Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tacoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Jesus during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Resende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Picarra were the better team. Picarra 's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
