Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrique Brito got the match started through his kick off. Américo Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Brito's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When Daniel Pereira got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Américo Santarém was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Guarda in the 8th minute of play forced Pedreles's goalkeeper Vítor Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Lourenço Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Pedreles got a freekick which was hit by José Pires. In the 30th minute, Henrique Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Américo Santarém. The goal made the score 1-0. José Pires's late challenge caught a SC Papadussos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pedreles's José Pires got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Henrique Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pedreles booed when SC Papadussos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Lourenço Viegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Vieira. Pedreles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lourenço Viegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Moniz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Pedreles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Moniz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Papadussos's Lúcio Queirós tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Lourenço Viegas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Viegas in the 54th minute of play forced Pedreles's goalkeeper Vítor Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Viegas in the 59th minute of the match. Daniel Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Santarém having to interfere. If Lourenço Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Vieira having to interfere. Daniel Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Américo Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Santarém came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedreles's Daniel Pereira. But to his dismay, Daniel Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Américo Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Américo Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Daniel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedreles's Vítor Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Pedreles from getting a goal against them. SC Papadussos's Américo Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pereira in the 98th minute of play.
