Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Catarino Oliveira started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Catarino Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Amílcar Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajuda and the SC Alvogas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Amílcar Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Queirós's late challenge caught a Ajuda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Mariano Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Alves in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, SC Alvogas's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Alves came free, but Simão Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Ajuda booed when SC Alvogas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Afonso Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajuda's Afonso Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Soares during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Ricardo Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Afonso Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Rafael Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simão Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Esteves in the 38th minute of play. Catarino Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Catarino Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ajuda's André Nascimento got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Rafael Esteves made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, SC Alvogas's Catarino Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Alvogas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Álvaro Oliveira hit a great ball. Catarino Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Freitas having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Mariano Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alvogas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catarino Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Freitas having to interfere. SC Alvogas's Catarino Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Alexandre Matos shot a long shot in the 81st minute and a light blocked Duarte Freitas hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Alvogas's Mariano Queirós got a free kick in the 85th minute. Afonso Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Barros having to make a save. Rafael Esteves might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Esteves ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Alvogas had won after a very even match.
