In the 10thth minute of the game Duarte Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urzal's Rui Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Américo Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Pinheiro in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Freitas in the 17th minute of play forced Urzal's goalkeeper Rui Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Duarte Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urzal's Rui Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Pinheiro in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Duarte Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Carvalho was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. André Cabral hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Américo Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Américo Trindade made the kick off in the second half. Vítor Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Américo Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Luz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Urzal's Rui Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Urzal from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored SC Biqueiras's protests and gave Alexandre Neto a yellow card for diving instead.
