Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Odeleite's Francisco Pedroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basílio Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Luz's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Urzal's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Pedroso came free, but Rui Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Américo Trindade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Odeleite! The referee gave Urzal a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Odeleite's Basílio Moura. 0-1. With a little luck, Urzal's Rui Carvalho got control of the ball when André Ferro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Guarda was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Urzal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Odeleite:s goal. The referee gave SC Odeleite a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filipe Andrade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urzal's Rui Carvalho. 1-1. After 34 minutes, João Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urzal and the SC Odeleite players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rui Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Luz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Marco Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Odeleite's André Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Urzal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Santarém to maneuver through the defense. When André Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Odeleite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Ferro couldn't finish the play. André Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rui Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Francisco Pedroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urzal's Rui Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, André Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Odeleite's supporters rose to their feet, but André Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Odeleite's Basílio Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SC Odeleite from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Francisco Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Carvalho was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. André Ferro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rui Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Odeleite. Rui Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
