André Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Moura having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Pinheiro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Duarte Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, André Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Odeleite's supporters rose to their feet, but André Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Pedroso in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Correia saved SC Biqueiras from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Francisco Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Correia was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 88th minute, Francisco Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joel Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Biqueiras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
